Where Christ Makes The Difference
During the course of the playgroup sessions we include prayers, Christian songs and Bible stories will be read and told. We do, however, make the children aware of other people and cultures in the setting and around the world, ensuring that all people are valued and respected.
You are always welcome to attend our church services though to comply with Covid-19 requirements please get in touch with the church office about how to do this.
We are very flexible in receiving payment. You may pay cash, cheque or via BACS. You can pay weekly, half termly or termly or an amount that suits, as long as your bill is settled in full at the end of each half term (by the Monday of the last week before end of half term). At the beginning of each term, those children not in receipt of Government Funding will receive a bill detailing the fees due to be paid. You will be given a receipt for monies paid. We still ask for payment if your child is sick or on holiday.
We also accept child care vouchers and are registered for the Government's Tax Free Childcare Scheme.
We ask for two weeks notice if your child is leaving playgroup, or decreasing the number of sessions, or we reserve the right to charge for this, if no notice is given.
If there is a change of collector at the end of the session, we require that a form is completed detailing the collectors name and contact details. The collector will need to know your child's date of birth and your unique password.
We regularly, when asked by schools or colleges take students at playgroup. We also have supported many volunteer helpers to achieve qualifications whilst working with us.
Please be aware of the notices within the church building and Playgroup relating to fire safety. Please note that there is a "no smoking" policy within the church.
We are keen to promote the languages that are heard and spoken at home and we will ask you to supply key words and phrases (if applicable to you)
Parents and carers are welcome to come in to help with Playgroup. Just sign up on the rota (on the landing). We really appreciate your help in this way and it is a great way to get to know you better.
If you have a skill, talent or hobby that you would like to share at playgroup, and you can spare the time to visit, we would to have you talk to the children.
