Rowena’s Testimony

I was born in Guildford and my parents became Christians soon after I was born so we always went along to church as I was growing up.

When I was 5 I became a Christian, although very young I knew that Jesus had died on the cross to save me and that I needed to trust him and ask him to forgive me for the wrong things I had done.

When I was 7 we moved to London and I found that very hard especially at school.  I remember praying a lot and the Lord helping me.  I got into the secondary school that I wanted to go to and after that was not walking so closely with the Lord.

When I was 13 my Dad was involved in a serious road accident and was badly injured.  It was just a normal day but could have been so much worse and it made me realise how fragile life is and that I must be sure I am going to heaven.

Soon after that I recommitted my life to God and was baptised.  It is hard to live as a Christian but God has guided me through.  He has directed my life through A Levels, the University degree I took and then the jobs I have had and now my life in Aylesbury.
