Outings and Events

Once a term we organize a social event, this may be a lunch or coffee morning etc.  These events are well attended and it is a great opportunity for parents and carers to get to know us better and other parent/carers better.

At Easter we have lunch, simmnel cake and chocolate eggs for the children.

Annually a local farmer invites us to his farm for a picnic in the summer.  He gives us a tractor ride and tour of his farm.  We have play equipment, activity sheets and ice creams.

We have also had trips to Whipsnade Zoo, to Great Missenden on the train and an autumn walk in the local Spinney to name but a few.

At Christmas the children perform a nativity for parents and carers with lunch afterwards.  The children have a Christmas party and a special visitor always brings a surprise and big smiles!  Also we join the other children’s groups for a carol concert.
