Alan Harvey

Alan grew up in south London and became a committed Christian in his late teens. After 15 years working in administration & finance in various parts of the UK, he trained for the ministry at Trinity College, Bristol. Subsequently he has served over the last 23 years in churches in Ipswich, Glasgow and Bournemouth.

At the beginning of March 2006 Alan took up pastoral oversight at Limes Avenue Baptist Church. The emphasis of Alan's ministry lies in the exposition of God's word, the prayerful caring for God's people, and the leadership of God's church.

Alan has a delightful wife, Pat, who is a qualified social worker, and a delinquent dog called Tyndale, who is a springer spaniel!

People are welcome to talk through any issues with Alan at any time but he is available once a month at the church on Saturday mornings.
